Below is a list of what we do at Parent Finders Ottawa.

1. Register Searches in our database.
2. Circulate the birth information only to other search and support groups through our Newsletter Search Alert and only with your consent.
3. Provide peer support and counselling in all aspects of adoption search and reunion.
4. Hold 3 public information meetings per year.
5. Publish 3 newsletters per year.
6. Assist in writing letters to newly found relatives.
7. Assist in obtaining and completing government forms relating to adoption disclosure.
8. Offer the use of our post office box for newspaper search ads.
9. Act as intermediary in the reunion process upon request.
10. Offer post-reunion support.
11. Raise awareness on adoption legislation and reform.
