Adoptee:
Adoptee in reunion. After joining Parent Finders in 1991 as a member, I first became involved as Co-chair of the Adoption Reform Coalition of Ontario, and subsequently joined the Parent Finders Ottawa Board as President in 1994.


Beverly McKiver
Secretary

Adoptee:
Reunited with two sisters and currently searching for my brother. I joined the Board in 2007. Aside from my involvement with Parent Finders I am also the webmaster of The Native Adoptee, a website specializing in the issues of Aboriginal adoptees. I have also authored "When the Heron Speaks" - a short story included in "Children of the Dragon Fly" - Native American Voices on Child Custody and Education, edited by Robert Bensen, published by the University of Arizona Press.

I have been involved with Parent Finders since 1989 when I reunited with my daughter. I was the Co-Chair of the Adoption Council of Ontario; Canadian Liaison to The American Adoption Congress for 8 years; Partner in "B & M Books" - (Adoption Search and Reunion Books for sale); Member of many adoption reform groups - full of political opinions!

I reunited with my daughter in 1989 who lives in California.; I found out I was adopted in 1994; My birth parents were both deceased but I found my sisters in England in 2003. I became a Board member in 1989; I joined as a member in 1987;

Happily in reunion with my son. I joined PFNCR in 2003 and volunteered to become Newsletter Editor in the fall of 2008.
